The XTTP Research Consortium was founded under the coordination of SOLVO Biotechnology Co. in 2005 in the framework of the sponsorship of National Focus Sector Innovation Program (FSIP), aka Oszkár Asbóth R&D Program. Our project was granted 1.4 billion HUF with an additional member contribution of 360 million HUF.

Six of the most prominent research centers and industrial companies of Hungary have joined their forces in order to develop products and services covering the whole R&D chain of the pharmaceutical industry.

Our Consortium have contacts also with other research centers and companies, therefore FTE value of our project team exceeds 50.

Scope of the Project:
Research and development of experimental procedures, models, drug candidates, diagnostic applications, as well as toxicogenomic procedures and techniques based on transporter inhibition.

Research Fields:
1) Discovery of efflux transporter inhibitor drug candidates for cancer treatment and some inflammatory conditions.
2) Development of diagnostic procedures for individual-based medication in the above diseases.
3) Development of toxicogenomic procedures for quick tests for various environmental pollution agents.
